We ensure that construction work is valued correctly and project costs are negotiated effectively with the Contractor to provide best value to our Clients at all times. Our knowledge of the sectors we work in ensures we provide specialised expertise across the whole project life cycle to reduce risk and deliver positive outcomes. Given our experience we have a huge cost database and benchmarking information to enable us to provide accurate advice to Clients. Our Change Control process ensures the final account is managed throughout the project avoiding surprises at completion.
Our Employer’s Agent offering ensures that the design and build contract is administered correctly to fully protect the Client at all times. We ensure the Contractor is managed effectively and the project that is delivered at completion is compliant with the specification and delivered on time, on budget and at the required quality.
The health and safety of construction sites is incredibly important and our service offering ensures that the contractor maintains a high standard of safety on site. The provision of the Health & Safety File and Operation and Maintenance Manuals at completion of a project are the key to enable the Client’s staff to manage the building effectively and we ensure this transition from site to operation is seamless.
Ashden act for real estate investors and high street lenders to ensure that the project is managed correctly and costs are accurately controlled. From our initial report we advise investors that the building contract is aligned to the Forward Funding Agreement (or similar) and continue this through our monthly monitoring of construction progress. This services concludes with successful delivery at Practical Completion and the rectification of any defects at the end of the Defect Liability Period.
